Atlus has announced that the publisher’s RPG Persona 4 Golden for Sony PlayStation Vita has surpassed 700,000 shipments worldwide, including both digital sales and retail outlet orders.
The Asia (English) edition of Persona 4 Golden was also honoured as a “User’s Choice” game at the PlayStation Awards in Tokyo earlier this month. The domestic (Japanese) release of Persona 4 Golden was also named “User’s Choice” by fans last year.
Persona 4 was first released for Sony PlayStation 2 by Atlus in 2008. Persona 4 Golden, the enhanced portable version of the popular RPG title, launched last year in Japan and the US, and in Europe earlier this year.
